Our Next Workshop
Whisk & Sip: Matcha Making & Barista Basics
Join us for a fun fall late afternoon of learning how to make matcha and mastering barista basics, while sipping some great matcha beverages.
Introducing Whisk & Sip — our Matcha Making & Barista Basics workshop. The first one kicks off this month on Saturday, September 20 at Simpl Cafe (799 College St., Toronto).
Whether you’re new to matcha, want to perfect your at-home whisking technique, or just love the idea of creating seasonal lattes in good company, this experience is for you.
Come explore traditional matcha tools and techniques, practice mindful whisking, and even get behind the barista counter to try your hand with professional café equipment.
To make things extra cozy, you’ll craft your own seasonal drink — choose between a classic hot or iced matcha latte, or a fall-inspired Pumpkin Pie Matcha or Maple Chai Matcha (all made with dairy-free ingredients).
Come solo or take advantage of our group rate.
We love seeing what you’re making.
